Over 130 golfers and thirty-six teams recently participated in the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center Foundation Golf Par-Tee at Green Hills Golf Club in Mt. Vernon. According to Mike Warren, President of Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, “This event celebrated the twenty-fifth hosting of our tournament.” For the past quarter of a century, “The Golf Par-Tee has served as a wonderful friend builder as well as a great fundraiser” states Warren who has hosted at each of the twenty-five golf tournaments. The Golf Par-Tee was again a sell-out, with all golfers and sponsors enjoying a great time for a worthy cause.
Mid America Radiology’s team was the Championship Flight winner while Helia Healthcare’s team was the “A” Flight winner.
Bruce Flanigan, Foundation Director states, “I want to thank everyone involved especially the team sponsors and the golfers; we had a great day.” Flanigan expressed appreciation specifically to RARE Chop House and National Railway Equipment Co. who together served as the major sponsor of the tournament. Flanigan continues, “We are so pleased with the ongoing support we receive; all proceeds benefit Good Samaritan Regional Health Center”.
